Following a nationwide search, Sinclair University has appointed Dr. Marcus Thorne as provost. He will oversee academic affairs, curricular planning, and faculty support across the university.
Dr. Thorne brings a record of faculty leadership, interdisciplinary planning, and student-focused academic administration to Sinclair.
His appointment reflects the university's continued investment in teaching quality, research support, and curricular pathways that connect closely to student advising and career preparation.
